No Hungarian, No Problem

I was buying drinks in a small shop in Szeged in Hungary and wondering where to find an internet cafe so that I could plan my today’s route and also where my bicycle was secure.

Two local guys stopped by and one of them chatted with me in English for a while wondering at what on earth my bicycle is. They bought me juice, took me to their apartment which is being renovated, offered more juice, bread and butter and provided internet which I am using right now.

What an experience!!! Maya is standing in the balcony of apartment. One of the guys is very curious. He only speaks Hungarian, he is coming to me often with various questions. We somehow are able to understand and communicate. To tell us each other’s names, I had to draw three figures on the paper.
