Could this be the last bicycle check during the trip? Well I hope so!
The wobbly rear wheel gets straightened yet one more time, after getting treatment in Mashhad, Bukhara, Samarkand, and now in Dushanbe.
It is still not perfect but I think the mechanic tried his best for the 25-Tajik-Somoni-job. Now I hope the bicycle can survive the tough challenge the terrain of Pamir presents.
Today I drew money from the ATM, changed Euros to Tajik Somoni, USD to smaller bills, and got a Tajik mobile SIM with internet dongle.
Now I have to charge all the camera batteries, buy some food for the way, and I will be ready to leave tomorrow for the biggest challenge during this trip so far.
